global_land_meteorological_observations

The data consists of historical meteorological data collected from available land-based meteorological observing stations that have been shared with international repository efforts led by NOAA NCEI and C3S. The data are available at a mix of instantaneous, daily and monthly aggregations with data availability varying by aggregation. Several thousand stations exist iin the Arctic domain of varying duration and temporal completeness and also vary in what parameters are recorded. Data are quality controlled but not homogenized.
